Things NOT to do in your Faire Brand Wholesale Shop

💋OOM - aka your Opening Order Minimum is not at a SWEET spot
If your product collection is SMALL and your minimum is too HIGH (especially based on the price of your products) retailers aren’t even going to attempt to place an order. They’ll feel like it’ll be too hard to even meet that opening order minimum so they won’t even try.
But you can’t place your OOM too low either. That is a dead giveaway that you aren’t a serious wholesaler. And YIKES… we don’t want THAT either.
Not to mention you don’t want to encourage little trick or treat orders, ya know?!
💋Product Photos Matter + YOU showing up as “the maker” matter.
They go hand in hand and you can’t skimp on this one. These are all selling points for TONS of reasons. The photos and the story behind the product (aka YOU) provide VALUE to your products and make it an easier sell for retailers. Don’t make it harder for them to sell your stuff, mmm k? A retailer’s job is difficult enough.
💋If your turnaround time is TOO LONG that can deter a potential retailer from EVER placing an order.
They might just move along to another brand. And you don’t want THAT, right?!
If your turnaround time is too long ask yourself WHY? Is your wholesale business not streamlined? Do you not have items in stock ready to go? If you aren’t willing to invest in inventory & your business to provide a better customer experience why should a retailer invest your products? Getting orders out as quick as possible provides an excellent customer experience. An excellent customer experience BUILDS trust. Yes, we brands are not Amazon, but everyone still wants their shit as soon as possible. That is the reality of today’s world.
